ok my boss thinks a little too highly of me. i hope this doesn't come across as arrogance but i think i'm not too bad at what i do. however! the project my boss just proposed is just impossible! financial news magazine programmes with a turn-around time of 4 hours per episode? i don't like to promise when i may or may not deliver. i turned it down. no matter how much money they're going to offer.

this is the first project i've ever turned down from my boss.

templates! and strict demands on the formatting of everything they send you.

the bulk of the problem is the time needed to research professional terminology used in programmes like these - they're just as bad as documentaries! a breathable pace for a 1-hour episode of this would be 2 days, but 4 hours is just insane. :[

No need to feel bad for turning the job down, sometimes bosses forget staffers are human too.
