pictorial :: spideykids :: munster
it's been awhile since i posted pictures of my princess. :)

she's done raising her third clutch of bubbas. all the bubs have been released into the world. i reckon there were about 15 of them this time. she looks a little skinnier in the third picture because that one was taken after the third batch had left. i've been giving her lots of rest, a bit of morning sun, and some good food (bobbeggs, small mealworms, less fruit flies). she's slowing down a little, wonder if she's getting on in age or just tired out from having so many kids... in any case, after some counseling from uncle john, i've come to terms with the fact that one day she will leave me and i will be devastated, but i hold in my heart the knowledge that i've given the best care to her and all her bubs.

what are you going to do when you find out that she's actually an "australian death spider" or something and you've released dozens of them into the wild and within six months, everyone on the contenent is swelled up like poisoned dogs? will you lead your spider-army on a path of vengance? swarming across homes and villages? settling old scores? or will you march them into the sea -- weeping copiously, but saving humanity?

either way, it will make a great movie.

hahaha! that would make a great movie indeed, kyle! but then, munster is actually a very common species in singapore and the surrounding regions as well. they're literally everywhere! :) bobby is the unknown fella.

i don't have enough of them to make an army either. :p i sure would love to have one though! we gotta work harder on those mutant radioactive spider-eggs!
