happy camper

landed a pretty sweet project yesterday, a 20-parter, to spread over the next coupla weeks. :)

got my very first birthday pressie of this year, a new sound system for my new room from my brother sam. :)

sam also presented me with the cutest little ['flip flap' plant] in [white birch] for my room. it's now flapping next to my window in the cutest, strangely calming way. [here]'s a video of a coupla 'flip flap's doing their thang. :)

found the best tailor EVER. :)

received a surprise in the mail from blue_kitten, containing ishiya biscuits, japanese bath salts and the cutest letter written on leaves! :)

caught up with mingster for just one day when she did a quick visit, and got more ishiya biscuits from her in the loveliest blue and white tin with little prancing cats! :D

thanks to these two babes, i have new ishiya supplies!

added more stuff to my room - new desk lamp, storage boxes, hooks and whatnots. sorted out millions of wires and power supply outlets, what goes where and whatnots. why do some appliances come with such short wires? bleah. anyways, it's all sorted now. after some effort. which makes it all the more satisfying. :)

accidentally discovered that royal honey choya alleviates my monthly headaches! absolutely ecstatic about this. i knew royal jelly is good for women, but i didn't know it could be so effective. thus, have been having lovely choya nights with mother. :) only problem is getting a constant supply of this stuff - seems to be only available in duty-free. a galpal has informed me to try meidi-ya. will check it out soon.

made more new contacts for work. :)

spent a lot of good, quality time with various pals lately. :)

been getting along very, very well with my eldest brother, bryce. we've never gotten along well since childhood, but now we're like comrades. it's all good. :)

am feeling more in charge of my life than ever, now that i've kinda settled into freelance life. i must admit, it was a little out of control in the first few months (also because i was flooded with mountains of projects suddenly) - even though it was my own time, it took a little getting used to and getting things organised. now, i'm living a healthy, relatively stress-free life and i have enough time to take care of myself properly. my skin and hair feel great and i'm getting light workouts in everyday. will be starting to run with kalla boo very soon, and more blading sessions - looking forward to that. :)

i think my new room is giving me a lot of positive energy. i'm in a happy space and it's making me such a happy person. i'm thankful for all the good things in my life right now. :)
