rubber duckie, you're the one!

I used to have a best friend. We have been friends since we were 13. She used to sing this very often when we hung out together, "Rubber duckie, you're the one... You make bathtime so much fun..."

Those of you who have been reading since the earlier years of this journal will know who I am referring to - my best friend the KA. Unfortunately, in recent years, we no longer see each other much after she started a new relationship (which isn't new at this point heh). I don't know if her partner has anything to do with it or would it be because she no longer values our friendship. Either way, I was kinda sad about it, but I have gotten over it. I know that affinity runs out between people and sometimes, people just have to go their separate ways. At least, with the KA, I know we will never betray or turn on each other, and Nicole and I will always embrace her with open arms whenever she comes back to us. :)

fight against the white nights

In my continuing efforts to stop living in the night, I went and bought some tea yesterday. Because I realised that one reason (of many) for me to flip back to my "nightlife" is the fact that I get tired by 5pm if I wake up in the mornings. I would then crash out for a nap, and wake up at midnight. And all would be lost again.

I love tea, especially with condensed milk. I would always have a cup of tea daily, when I lived in Melbourne. But for some reason, possibly because it's so darn hot here, I just don't do it in Singapore.

Well, I'm going to start doing it. Let's see how it goes...
