I don't think I will be using DHL or Comgateway ever again.

Yup, came empty just like that... The tape has been cut open!

Is it insured? Will you get your money back or replacement?
JVdrag0nette on September 24th, 2010 12:39 pm (UTC)
I doubt I will get much compensation back but I'm not going to let them off easy. Still waiting for replies from all the relevant parties...

That's awful... Sorry to hear that. I've always had great experience with DHL. It's my favourite carrier out of the 3 (UPS, Fedex being the other 2).

Re Comgateway, so far no problems with them at all. Were you ordering Apple Guard stuff? They ship direct.

I was impressed with DHL's speed and tracking system... until the empty box came. The box is clearly labelled 1.24kg. An EMPTY box, labelled 1.24kg did not ring any alarm bells along the way?

I ordered LMB. Comgateway has a new setup with Paypal so they were offering 2kg free shipping. So it made more sense to ship to Oregon and ship 2kg free to Singapore.

Upon further observation, there is only one layer of tape on the box, which has been cut open. Which means Comgateway was stupid enough not to reseal the box after receiving and opening it to verify the contents. Who in the right mind ships an unsealed box?

that's a big box for a little jumping spider.
JVdrag0nette on September 24th, 2010 08:42 pm (UTC)
It was a pretty big spider... out loose in the world now! It will appear in the middle of the night on the pillow of every dishonest delivery staff person out there...

JVdrag0nette on September 25th, 2010 04:38 pm (UTC)
Sigh... Already complain but Comgateway still never reply. Never even acknowledge the issue. At least DHL replied within 2 hours.
