Wheelock Place used to be all snooty - that's as far as I can remember, especially with that flagship store they had that occupied the entire building.

I think ;).

Funnily enough, all these trying to remember places before has me thinking of that old ramen place in Far East Plaza! (like almost 20 years ago :O! )

i think that's beyond my memory of far east... i was there only since 15 years ago! :P

Man that shows how ancient I am :p

Think I was abt 6ish? It was a tiny place where the stairs are and looks into the opposite car park block. I remember it because the place was run by a japanese chef and his wife, and they had different sizes for ramen; with a large spoon that comes with the biggest serve.

And the Haagen Daz ice cream shop too above where SB is now.

Hmmm... food memories ;)

oh HEY was wheelock place GALERIES LAFAYETTE or something? :D

sudden jolt of memory!

do you know that the basement of far east plaza now is damn happening? chock full of shop to tempt the teens! and for the life of me, i can't remember what it was like before they developed it to the current state!

Nope where Zara is now was Galaries Lafayette. Wheelock wasn't around till 94-95 I think??

I remembered! That snooty store that used to occupy Wheelock was called Lane Crawford :D

Far East basement used to be Metro :P
