jello-freak
hi, i'm jessica val and i'm a jello-holic.

i have no explanation for the fact that i love jello more than i love chocolate. i like chocolate. but i love jello!

besides, [konnyaku] is a great health food. [here]'s some more information on this wonderful nature's creation jam-packed with dietary fibre!

konnyaku jello rocks so much more than normal jello. not just because of its kickass health benefits, but the texture is just so irresistibly springy! love the ones with the nata de coco cubes! :)

i munched up the above tray of 12 pieces within 3 days.

you can't keep them for too long either... so it's okay to finish them fast before they turn watery!

but they sure look yummy!
JV: eatdrag0nette on August 29th, 2006 02:09 pm (UTC)
these ones keep very well! they don't disintegrate/melt down at all. i know the ones that are home-made usually do. that's what happens to the ones my aunt makes... all the more reason for me to eat them all up like a jello-monster.

not sure what 'recipe' they use... they're quite 'sturdy'. the stall-owners tell me they can last about 4-6 hours without refrigeration (if i remember correctly). :P

I've yet to try jell-o. actually i've yet to try a lot of those jelly things.

JV: shootbirddrag0nette on August 29th, 2006 11:53 pm (UTC)
you've never had jello? babe! :o i'm shocked.

I've had agar agar stuff but not jell-o jell-o.

Ze folks were real strict about foods when we were growing up hence even by the time I have access to the stuff I never got around to it.

Maybe I'll pop into the IGA and get some after work tomorrow.
