1. I rub my knuckle on a daily basis. Bad habit. As a result, it's always red. Both knuckles used to be red but when Andrew proposed, I stopped rubbing the left knuckle to make the hand look more presentable ;)

2. I invented a way to eat noodles which fascinates most people.. including Asians.

3. I am a bit of a cover letter counsellor.

4. I've got 2 sides of me, and English side and a Singaporean side. Sometimes they don't really gel with each other.

5. I wear a lot of black.

6. I can't burp.

LOL @ 1...

what are ickle-noodles like? :)

i'm with you on 4. i'm half-aussie and half-singaporean and the singaporean side can sometimes become more chink like taiwanese type.

JV: poohdrag0nette on September 15th, 2006 12:56 pm (UTC)
hokay, here goes...

(i may forget a few, there are way too many!)

pikachu/pika (soma calls me that, sometimes BT as well), blueberry muffin/BB/muffin (from mates in melbourne), cat/meow (clay calls me that), agent hawkins (there is an agent rawkus), miss boo number two (there is a miss boo number one), the spud (bertrand calls me that, he is the bacon - we used to hit parties together as bacon and the spud), yan (part of chinese name), cheese (given by primary schoolmates, because i like cheese and it sounds like the other half of my chinese name), totoro (sam calls me that), little pooh (D calls me that).

online peeps from mirc-admin days (10 years ago) just call me val. :)

i'll let you know if i've missed out any. :)
Marktarsarlan on September 16th, 2006 06:57 am (UTC)
Woah, so that's about 11 if you don't count similar ones. Would be funny if you made up different personalities for all of them too :p

I think I only have 5:

Laps/Lapios - From highschool, from my surname.
Frenchie/Frenchman - One of the guys at work started it and everyone else followed suit. Because my surname is french.
Tars/Tarsy - An online one which a fair few people still call me in real life.
Lapdancer - Another guy from work. He's a strange guy. It's somehow related to my surname, but mainly it's because that guy is obsessed with the fact that our office is close to a few strip joints.
Pierre Lapierre - More guys at work, from another department. Guess the source ;)

i have more nicknames (not online names) than most people i know

I sometimes have to call you by the nick I knew you by first when I mention to Manny about LJ stuff - he looks blankly at me when I use your LJ names.

JV: crochetdrag0nette on September 15th, 2006 11:12 pm (UTC)

that's gotta be funnier than people calling me val. at least val is a 'proper' name.

if you include online nicknames, i have a total of ummm 5 of those from 12 years ago. only 2 of which are active today.

1. picking up baking was out of boredom. The first cake i made was a carrot cake (dad's fav) and the rest you can say is history.

2. Cooking is also completely self taught. Love reading cookbooks like storybooks. Hardly follow a recipe completely. I always end up creating my own stuff.

3. I can jump from a US size O to a US size 8 in a span of a year.

4. I used to enjoy my alone time, but in recent months, it is something i have to get used to. Not very good with alone time at the moment.

5. I enjoy cocoa pops with coke. Something I discovered when I was in boarding school. Introduced it to my boarding school friends, and they still have their cocoa pops like that once in a while. :)
